Extradition proceedings from Polish authorities for alleged International people trafficking- May 2015

S A Law Chambers Solicitors represent the defendant who is subject to a European Arrest Warrant issued by the Polish Government. He is wanted in Poland to face charges of people smuggling and exploitation  linked to organised crime associated involving the Roma Community and the Mafia Law .We successfully applied for bail at Westminster Magistrates Court pending his contested extradition proceedings.

Serious sexual assault by a taxi driver in Essex – May 2015

S A Law Chambers Solicitors represent  the defendant who appeared at Basildon Crown court following an alleged serious sexual assault. Our in house Higher Court Advocate had successfully applied for bail at the Magistrates court but the CPS appealed the decision to grant bail to crown court. The decision was upheld at the Crown Court following representation by our HCA and the matter is now due for trial.
