Man accused of two burglaries acquitted at Inner London Crown Court– February 2015
The defendant was charged with both a dwelling and non-dwelling house burglary. Despite evidence placing him at the scene of both alleged offences and his previous burglary convictions being revealed to the Jury, he was found Not Guilty of both offences after trial. The Trial was conducted by one of our in-house Solicitor Advocate.
Man found not guilty of aggravated burglary at Snaresbrook Crown Court – February 2015
The defendant was charged with another with the offence of aggravated burglary. The allegation was that 2 persons had forced their way into a property and caused a substantial amount of damage using baseball bats in relation to an argument of drug dealing and unpaid drug debts.
The owner of the property had been present and had fled the scene after calling police. The defendant denied the allegation on the basis that it was a case of mistaken identity and was found Not Guilty after trial.
